At Cambridge Jewellers, jewellery isn’t just our business—it’s our passion. Owner Anna Yeates first discovered her love for fine jewellery while working aboard luxury cruise ships out of Miami, travelling throughout the Caribbean. She spent nine years in Canada and 11 years living in Dubai, experiences that gave her a rich appreciation for international styles and exceptional customer service. With a natural eye for detail and a flair for helping clients find the perfect piece, Anna built her experience in both retail and shipboard jewellery boutiques. Before purchasing Cambridge Jewellers, she also spent five years working in real estate, further strengthening her skills in presentation, negotiation, and client care.

Supporting behind the scenes (and occasionally on the tools) is Murray Yeates, who brings over 30 years of business experience. He began his professional journey in the police force before moving into business ownership and sales. Murray is one of the owners of TABAK Business Sales and has a long history in retail, including being the former owner of Smith’s Sports Shoes and other ventures. While not full-time in the store, Murray often pops in and out to support the team.

Since joining the jewellery industry, Murray and Anna have embraced being part of the Nationwide Jewellers Group. Through this network, they’ve made amazing friends and contacts, and travelled internationally to conferences and jewellery fairs, keeping Cambridge Jewellers connected with the latest trends and innovations.

Together, Anna and Murray bring a wealth of experience and a personal touch to Cambridge Jewellers. With their backgrounds in retail, business, and customer service, they’re proud to continue the store’s long-standing reputation for quality and care. Their dedication to excellence was recognised in 2023 when Cambridge Jewellers was named Nationwide Member of the Year—a reflection of their commitment to both their customers and the wider jewellery community.
